Message from Revd Caroline Dick

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

Whilst public worship has been suspended and all church buildings in the Church of England are closed, the  Church continues to be alive and active.

All of us are acutely aware of the coronavirus epidemic, and its effects on our usual way of life. It’s important that we pray for all around the world affected by it, for those working to mitigate and eliminate it, and for those in our health service on the front line of care.

Our worship of God and our care for each other continues but cannot be done in this building. Our Team website contains details of how to join others online for prayer, worship, study, and community life.

See:  and click on the Online Worship Tab.  You will be able to see our Team Worship at Ten

For more information and pastoral resources click here will take you to the Durham Diocesan website.

Revd Caroline Dick shares Morning Prayer 9.00am and Evening Prayer 5.00pm each day via FaceBook Live.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength . . . Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”

Importantly we must distance ourselves from one another and prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives and protect the vulnerable amongst us. Please do not leave your home except for essential trips.

With love and prayers, in Christ,
