Cry of the Earth

Rhonda Fenwick-Jackson, artist, has embarked on the Cry of the Earth project with three local county primary schools (Witton Gilbert, Sacriston and Kimblesworth). It is the catalyst to forge deeper relationships with our local schools and offers a great opportunity for engagement between communities and the Church. It will provide children with an opportunity to creatively explore their own response to climate change as well as being part of the practical outworking of Christian Faith in day-to-day life. The work culminates in the school children producing a banner to be displayed outside the school.
